René is a fallen angel hiding from God in Brooklyn. René has work published in Apocalypse Confidential, SCAB Mag, Ligeia, and others. His biggest inspirations are Virginia Woolf and Pamela Anderson, whose Twitter bio has one of the greatest quotes of all time: “The only true obscenity is war.”

Sophia Takvorian is a recent grad who studied art history and sociology. A small child described her once as “a little rough around the edges but the best babysitter ever.” She enjoys gardening and the color red, and she’s always learning new songs on the guitar.

Marisa Lopez is a recent graduate of NYU’s journalism program currently living in Brooklyn. When she’s not working, she’s obsessing over shih tzus, Björk, or rewatching Freaky Friday for the (undisclosed number) time.

Ara Hagopian grew up in a small Massachusetts town. A graduate of Cornell University, he is currently pursuing his MFA in fiction writing at the University of Florida. He enjoys chamber music and tenpin bowling.

McKenna Hall is studying Creative Writing at NYU, mainly focusing on creative nonfiction. She adopted the persona of “biker chick” after living in Daytona Beach, FL for two years. In her free time, she drinks craft beers and plays lots of pool.
